History
In preparation since 2018, the Association was founded in 2019 in the Macao Special Administrative Region and formalized in 2020 by 30 arbitrators from Portuguese-speaking countries, Mainland China, and Hong Kong, the association already has already over two hundred members.
ALAM has partnerships with the Portuguese Arbitration Association, the Brazilian Arbitration Committee, Canal Arbitragem, and several Lusophone arbitration centers. ALAM organized the Lusophone Arbitration Congress and conducted several webinars.
